Google Maps

Google maps is good and easy way to find directions to a place you want to go. Google Maps also has an app you can get on your smart phone.  If I wanted to get directions to go from Abilene to Great Falls, Montana, all I would do is type in my starting and ending destination and it would give me one or two routes to get there.  It will also tell you how many miles it is and how long it will take you to get there. It will even tell you how long it will take you to walk there!! You can print out the map and the directions if you want. Google Maps is a good user friendly tool and I recommend this to anyone who needs good and accurate directions.

Google Jobs

Google offers a wide range of jobs with good benefits and there are different locations around the world that offer them.  Google in Chicago, Illinois is looking for a software engineer which would require you to know how to create applications and find solutions to problems.  In London, UK Google is looking for a Sales and Account Manager, this job requires good people skills and be able to sell things.  In Mountain View, California Google is looking for a Staffing Communications Specialist.  For that job you have to be able to develop communication plans and set up and lead meetings. Google has a lot to offer for jobs and in many locations, if you need a job Google would be a good place to apply.

Google Doodles

Google doodles are the designs that you see with the letters when you go to the Google website.  Google has people that make a new doodle everyday that has to do with something that happened in history on on that day or a holiday.  They have just plain doodles or sometimes they even have animated ones, or even ones that you can play a game.  There is also a competition going on right now for K-12 that you can submit a doodle and if you win you receive $30,000 in scholarship money and a $50,000 grant for your school.  If you would like to participate click here.  If you would like to play one of the animated doodles just type in Google doodles in Google and it will bring up multiple games.

Google Drive

Google drive is something Google offers so you can keep track of documents and have them anywhere you go. They have spreadsheets, documents, presentations, and other things.  The really cool part about this is that you can work on your project with other people. You can both edit it or they can just view it or you can set it up to where they can comment on it and you can edit it. It is really easy to add somebody on to you project and it is really helpful, you can also have more than one person added. Google Drive is a really good thing to use if you like having all your documents anywhere you go.

Animated Text

Glow Text is a website that allows you to make fancy animated texts. You can make them in different fonts and colors and motions.  You can get it on your blog by either HTML code or downloading the image and using the image gadget.  It is a good user friendly tool.

  Flash Vortex is another website that allows you to make animated texts and more.  On this website you can not only make texts but they have clocks, buttons, banners, and menus. You also have more options on the fonts and colors. This is also really easy to get on your blog, all you have to do is copy and paste the HTML code. I prefer this website.
